Literacy Service

The Education Authority’s Literacy Service provides support for pupils, schools and parents in the area of specific learning difficulties in literacy (SpLDs)/dyslexia.

The Literacy Service provides a broad continuum of support which may include:

Capacity building for schools via a broad range of Continuing Professional Development training modules

Advice and guidance

Individual or group intervention for pupils referred following assessment by the EA Educational Psychology Service.
